Art Wind Spinner

This painting began as a desire to revisit one of my favorite pieces—a black-and-white portrait inspired by John 14:6. While I loved the simplicity of the original, I felt God leading me to paint Him again, this time with greater depth, richer color, and more emotion.

I wanted to capture not only the suffering Christ endured but also the incredible love that led Him to willingly bear that suffering for us. The crown of thorns reminds us of His sacrifice, while the vibrant colors represent the hope, grace, and life that came through His victory.

The scripture, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6), is subtly woven into the painting because it is the heart of this piece. Jesus is not simply a way—He is the Way.

As I painted each brushstroke, my prayer was that anyone who looks into His face would be reminded that no matter where they are in life, His love remains constant, His sacrifice was enough, and His invitation to follow Him is still open today.
